Lauren Settle was born on December 26, 1988 in Preston, Lancashire.  She moved to Suffolk in September 1996.  Lauren attended the following schools/colleges:
1996 - 1999  St Margaret's CofE Primary, Ipswich
1999 - 2005  St Joseph's College, Ipswich
2005 - 2006  Westbourne Sports College, Ipswich
2006 - 2009  Colchester Institute, Colchester
Lauren trained as a Fitness Instructor with Ipswich Borough Council and worked in the Profiles Gyms and Crown Pools until 2011 when she went to work in Canada.  Lauren spent six months in the ski resort of Whistler, working in the North Face shop and skiing/snowboarding.  On her return in 2012, Lauren trained as a Personal Trainer and Sports Massage Therapist.  She worked at the Fitness Unit on Felixstowe Road and at Refresh Wellness on Ransomes Europark. 
Lauren played hockey for Ipswich Grasshoppers and Ipswich Phoenix.
